FILM

In order to film the jogging scene, Veronica was sitting in the trunk of her car while her mom was driving(this is totally safe). The shots were way smoother and less shaky which was the part that we were nervous about but it worked out!

Below are some screenshots of the video footage we got. The lighting was perfect and the footage came out perfect! We expected to have to do many retakes but we really didn't have to do that much. We also had a lot of extra footage though in case we needed to add a little more.

COLLAGE:)

      This is how the collage turned out. We added newspaper clippings mom words that include "murder" and "death". Also we added my baby pictures to add a more creepy effect as if I was being followed for a long time. We also bought fake blood and put a little on the side. In our film we are going to zoom in on each individual picture in various moving motions.

Collage part 1

Veronica and I wanted to make a collage of the female lead's dead pictures and baby pictures. We also wanted to include newspaper clippings that have to do with murder. We wanted to make it seem like he had everything mapped out and that he has been stalking her for a while(hence the baby pictures). I rubbed dirt on my feet and my parter bought rope to tie around my hands a feet. These were some of the shots we got.

Costumes

     It only took us a couple of hours to realize that we had NO clothes that resembled the time period that we are going for. After a while we gave up and thought of what we could do. We asked around to friends and even family and still nothing. We were thinking "wheres a good place to find cheap old fashioned clothes?" and then it came to us. GOODWILL! We drove down to goodwill and put this outfit together.
     I like the shorts and socks but I don't find the shirt as fitting the theme that much. I will continue asking around but if no one really has anything to lend us then that shirt will be used. I like how her outfit matches, which was very common in the 80s. the socks also fit the theme and adds character. I really like the red color because it is associated with energy(she is using energy by jogging).

     Props are very important especially since our film takes place in the 80s. We have to make sure evrything used AND worn are old fashioned. For example, we can't have the female lead with apple headphones in her ears. So what we did was find an old pair of pink old fashion headphones and spray painted them black. The headphones will be worn on her head while she is jogging and listening to music.

     We also ordered retro sweat bands to fit the theme and hint more to the viewers the time period. These are an example of what they look like. We are going to try them out and see how they look. We want to prevent them from taking away the seriousness of the film.
